Paul Geoffroy
French
Paul Geoffroy (b. 1947, Limoges, France) is a French designer celebrated for his minimalist and functionalist approach to furniture design. A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, Geoffroy began his career collaborating with renowned design agencies such as Dragon Rouge and Design Partner. In 1993, he founded his own design agency, Paul Geoffroy Design, in Paris.
Throughout his career, Geoffroy worked on numerous interior, furniture, and product design projects for prestigious brands including L'Oréal, Lancôme, Hermès, Peugeot, Sony, and Renault. His designs are characterized by their elegance, timelessness, and attention to detail.
In the 1960s, Geoffroy collaborated with Roche Bobois, contributing to the creation of iconic pieces that embody the brand's commitment to contemporary luxury and craftsmanship. His work with Roche Bobois showcases his ability to blend functionality with aesthetic appeal, resulting in furniture that is both practical and visually striking.
