Description
Irving Harper was a renowned midcentury designer for George Nelson Associates where he designed the iconic Marshmallow sofa and ball clock. For many years he created paper sculptures which were never available for sale until after his death. This particular piece was not typical of the work of that period. It has a distinctively surreal quality the exhibits his endless creative drive in the later years of his life.
