Böhlmarks AB (Bohlmarks)

Böhlmarks AB is a Swedish lighting manufacturer that was founded in 1918 by brothers Egon and Ivan Böhlmark. The company initially produced electrical components and accessories, but in the 1920s it began to focus on lighting fixtures.
 
Böhlmarks became known for its high-quality and innovative lighting designs, which were often characterized by their use of materials such as glass, brass, and copper. The company collaborated with many leading Swedish designers, including Carl Fagerlund, Erik Höglund, and Einar Backström, and it produced lighting fixtures for both residential and commercial applications.
 
One of Böhlmarks' most famous lighting designs is the "Globe" pendant lamp, which was designed by Carl Fagerlund in the 1950s. The lamp features a round, hand-blown glass shade with a distinctive, textured surface, and it has become an icon of mid-century Swedish design.
