Since the company’s launch in 1998, each area rug and furniture piece has been designed by hand, and then made by hand, using traditional craftsmanship techniques. Our rugs are handmade by skilled artisans in India, and our furniture is handcrafted by master furniture makers in our Portland, ME studio.
Our Story
Founded by married Maine native designers Angela Adams and Sherwood Hamill, the company was an overnight sensation with critics and decorators alike, providing an array of heirloom quality modern design pieces for an inspired home.
