Pair of Early Eames Aluminum Group Chairs for Herman Miller

Description
Early pair of high-back lounge chairs with swivel / tilt function designed by Charles and Ray Eames and manufactured by Herman Miller as part of the Aluminum Group collection. Composed of black channelled vinyl seats with headrests on four-point 'contract' bases with original feet. The original clear-coat has been removed from the arms, revealing beautifully polished aluminum rests. There is a small separation / split at the bottom of one of the armrests. Arm rests can be removed entirely, as displayed in one of the images.
Branded HM 'Patent Pending,' suggesting that these were produced within the first two years of the design's introduction (1958 or 1959).
Without arms, the length is: 23", with arms, it's 26.5".

Condition:	Good. Excellent, vintage condition sans separation to the bottom of one of the armrests (see images).
