Walnut floating top desk supported by cylindrical feet, model 1625 designed by Milo Baughman for Glenn of California (ca. 1955, USA).
Thoughtfully designed to optimize space and storage -- the desk is double sided having three dovetailed drawers with deeply carved, recessed pulls on one side and an open bookshelf back for additional storage. Further, the floating surface is not only visually appealing, but also allows the secondary surface to be used for storage.
Newly refinished condition; only light wear remains, as shown, along with a few small veneer repairs to the left drawer fronts.
