Melon Sugar Bowl

$ 1,500
  • Description
    Wiener Werkstätte founder Josef Hoffmann designed the 'Melon' Mocha Service for the Augarten Porcelain Factory in 1929, the first of a number of collaborations with the manufacturer. Originally only available in two colors, a light blue glaze and the light yellow glaze seen here, Hoffman's design is both elegant and playful.

    This lidded ceramic sugar bowl from Hoffmann's 'Melon' Mocha Service is in excellent condition and is signed.
