Beech armchair with woven papercord seat and back. Model 1459. Manufactured by Fritz Hansen, 1938
Until recently this rare and sought after armchair was commonly attributed to Frits Schlegel. However a closer look at the original Fritz Hansen catalog from 1938 reveals that this chair was actually designed by K. Scröder and not by Schlegel. -
