Description
A pair of Mogens Koch ‘MK 16’ foldable armchairs with Brazilian rosewood frames and black leather seat, back and armrests. This safari type chair was designed by Mogens Koch in the 1930s, but most likely only taken into (full) production in the 1960s.
The use of the Brazilian rosewood in this version is especially nice; It counterbalances the 'apparent simpleness' of the design while giving the items a luxurious and high quality appareance. -
