Kohlmaier Manufaktur
Austrian, 1884
'Kohlmaier Manufaktur' was established in 1884 as an upholstery family business. Since then the company has developed into a high quality furniture producer creating bespoke pieces for architects, interior designers and private clients. The philosophy is: combine contemporary design with skilled, traditional handcrafting. A profound knowledge of the specifics and the hidden secrets of old and new furniture are the key ingredients for the craftsmanship by brothers Peter and Bernd Kohlmaier. A sophisticated collection of furniture pieces has been developed over the past 10 years in close cooperation with cutting edge Austrian designers.
