Description
A piece of wonderful jewelry by Line Vautrin designed in 1941 on the subject of St Foi, a child martyr on the early fourth century and the patron saint of prinsoers, in a rare form of a reliquary pendant with a lock pin attached to a chain. The pendant features the effigy of St Foi on one side and bars of prison on the other side. It opens to a small chamber that holds a picture or a relics of some memory. It is monogrammed 'LV" as shown. It measures 2"hx1,5"wx0.5"d.
