    Reference: The Seymour attribution is based the demi-lune inlay as well as the writing on the back of the drawers which is consistent with Seymour practices. Please see other dressing mirrors made by John and Thomas Seymour in Robert Mussey The Furniture Masterworks of John & Thomas Seymour, entries 58-59, pages 250-258, particularly the demi-lune inlay in entry 58.
