Monumental Jean Prouvé Potence wall light for Vitra. Designed in 1950 as a pivoting wall lamp for the Maison Tropique, Potence is regarded as one of Jean Prouvé‘s puristic masterpieces. The fascination of this impressive light, which is over six feet long and dimmable, stems from the spareness of its materials and forms. The Potence is executed in black powder-coated tubular steel and beech wood. The arm rotates freely, accommodates a single 75 w max medium base incandescent bulb with a dimmer cord and wall plug. New in box authorized re-edition by Vitra with warranty and “Certificate of Authenticity."
