Rare Pair of Milo Baughman Solid Flat Bar Chrome Cube Chairs, Mid-Century Modern
-
Description
Really rare pair of signed Milo Baughman flat bar chrome cube lounge chairs. We have four of these chairs in all and are selling them in pairs. These were made exclusively for the Stanley Library in North Carolina. The library commissioned Thayer Coggin and Milo Baughman to design all the furniture for the library back in the early 1970s. This is the 1st time we have ever seen this particular design from Baughman and it is quite impressive with the solid steel chrome flat bars in an odd rectilinear architectural design. The chairs will need to be reupholstered but the chrome still looks great. One of the chairs still retains the original Thayer Coggin Institutional Label. This is a unique opportunity to own probably one of rarest designs by yours and my favorite Mid-Century designers Milo Baughman. We have two pair of these for sale. This sale is for two chairs one pair.
