England c. 1790
Superb example of a pure Georgian Period Satinwood Oval End Library - Writing - Dressing Table in the typical Sheraton Fashion. Of a particular high quality in choice of West Indian Timbers highlighted with Tulipwood Crossbandings suggesting a top London maker, very possible a rare example of Gillows of Lancaster. The oval shaped ends being a rare design for a library table make this a serious piece of collectible furniture.

Condition: Excellent state of repair and originality, with a most glorious colour and surface.
Replaced hardware ... normal wear marks as expected to the top - commensurate with its age. -
