Designed by Bertil Fridhagen and manufactured by Bodafors in Sweden, this bedroom dressing set remains in nearly impeccable condition from when it was first acquired in 1964/65 from Scandinavian Design in New York by an interior designer. The original bill of sale and a Bodafors catalog picturing the set are included.
The form is modular and intended to be flexible to the needs of the interior, this particular set up with a small chest of drawers on the left and a large chest of drawers on the right with a bookshelf situated on top. These flank a dressing table that spans the void, the flat surface lifting to store dressing elements and also reveal the mirror.
It includes the original side chair, a comfortable stylish piece with a spindle back and curved bentwood crest rail - this retains its original green tweed upholstery.
