Description
Edward F. Caldwell & Co., an American gilt and silvered bronze table clock, circa 20th century. Very high quality clock. Enamel face and central reserve of two cherubs. A nearly identical example, entgilt bronze, signed for E.F. Caldwell sold Christies New York, 21 October 2008, lot 274. Another of the same model, signed, gilt and patinated bronze, sold Christies New York 10 October 2016, lot 28. Measures: 13 1/2" high x 7" wide x 3 1/2" deep. (We cannot guarantee the time keeping of the clock) Good condition. Normal wear consistent with age and use.
