A French gilt and patinated bronze, marble, and enamel annular dial clock by Henry Dasson, Paris, 1891.
Bronze floral finial atop a blue enameled globe with gilt Roman numeral porcelain annular dial, three patinated bronze cherubs mounted to a variegated green marble stepped base with applied ormolu.
The annular dial has blue enamel cartouche style plaques with gilt Roman numerals. The high quality movement strikes on a bell, has a lever escapement, is adjusted for fast/slow against an engraved silvered dial and has a knurled knob to set the time.
Signed Henry Dasson Et Cie 1891. Quality is 10/10, very crispy.
Good condition. Normal wear consistent with age and use. Scratches to the blue enamel globe.
Measures: 20" high x 6.5" diameter. Clock is not running. -
