Kindt-Larsen ratta sofa, Denmark
-
Description
A rattan two-seater sofa by the designer couple Edvard and Tove Kindt-Larsen for Wengler. Labeled by R. Wengler and in a very good condition. Based on the original publications of this sofa, we had a new cushion made in our in house atelier and have it upholstered with a laundered linen in Calamine, a plea pinkish grey with a slight lilac tone.
The seat height stated is without the fabric cushion.
The model is based on a chair that was designed by Kindt-Larsen for the Danish Pavilion at the New York Expo of 1939. -
