Thelma was born in Ohio in 1903 she was a pioneer many new technics in ceramic sculpture in glaze and color in the U.S. and was also involved with her husband Edward in creating many large enamel murals for churches and corporations. Both taught and wrote quite extensively, and their work was exhibited widely and often.
We have here 6 original drawings in pencil and crayon that she did in 1968 showing in her way the many different styles in art from Post Impressionism, Pointillism, Fauvism, Cubism, Stylization and Realism.
All 6 of this pictures were in the collection of Edward and Thelma Winter.
Thelma Winter was one of the best and most prolific woman artists of the 20th Century. Besides Art she mainly worked in ceramics and enamels, where her work are in many museums and private collections around the World.
