Antique Chinese Export Lacquer Bureau Cabinet of Small Proportions in Three Sections Comprising Table, Bureau and Cabinet Retaing the Original Metalwork. Circa 1730
(most unusual for all sections to be together as often they are separated as the bottom section makes a very good coffee table).
Provenance
Private Collection Jamaica-London - purchased from the late Blanche Blackwell in Lowndes Square London. She was the inspiration for Pussy Galore in Ian Flemings novel Goldfinger ... she was also his mistress. Born Blanche Lindo - of the world famous family of business folk and philanthropists, known for their massive loan to Napoleon (unrepaid). See Lindo Hospital London. -
