A spectacular French Louis XVI style oval marble-top table, made of hand carved oak from the 19th century. This beautiful antique features an oval shaped marble surface that is set into the top, and is in remarkable antique condition. The apron is decorated with carved beaded pearl and twisted ribbon motifs and square rosettes where the legs join the top. These long legs are slightly tapered and fluted, joined by a concave X-stretcher, and terminate in turned feet.
