Exceptional pair of Gustavian stools, made in Sweden circa 1810. Beautiful, original ivory painted finish. Sinuous hand-carved wood frames with floral motifs. Notable provenance, sourced from a premier dealer in Sweden. The frames have been faithfully restored, including reinforcement at the joints on both. The plush, tufted seat cushion has been replenished and upholstered in linen fabric.
