Description
A Regency mahogany two drawer writing table with brass pulls and a hidden compartment for writing instruments, the reverse with dummy drawers with similar brass pulls, supported on unusual shaped trestle legs and an arched stretcher and casters.
For anyone that wishes to know what the mahogany used in the Regency period looks like, the mahogany of this writing table exemplifies that timber. Dense and finely grained, it takes a terrific French polish. This table has unusual trestle legs which are on casters. -
