1940s Hollywood Regency Translucent Cut Crystal Table Lamp with Acanthus Details

This exquisite Hollywood Regency table lamp was realized in the United States, circa 1940. It features three stacked volumetric ovoid forms with etched foliate detailing atop an elongated octagonal base from which ascends four stylized curling acanthus plume crystals, imbuing the piece with an irresistible dynamism. An orbital glass embellishment etched with diamond forms sits above the arches of these acanthus form embellishments secured with silver plate fittings, which recur throughout the piece. With its clean lines and timelessly elegant form, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from traditional to contemporary. The lamp has been newly rewired and comes equipped with a custom drum shade. Excellent vintage condition.
