Simply elegant Modernistic Art Deco Syrup Dispenser by Royal Rochester. How amazing that something as basic as a pitcher for maple syrup should have such artistry . This piece completes the trio of glamorized “table utilities” that included a waffle iron, a batter bowl and this…a dispenser with hand painted china topped by a shiny nickel spout and cover.

If only Katherine Hepburn had the Royal Rochester set when she attempted to make waffles for Spencer Tracy in “Woman of the Year” she may have been inspired to make them more perfectly! And the “Modernistic” line was guaranteed to be heat resistant, non-fading, easy to clean.
