Description
Hap Sakwa is an American sculptor. He was a leader in the modern woodworking movement that revolutionized the craft, elevating it to an art form. The early 1980s were pivotal in his career with the Museum of Modern Art in New York purchasing his work and a meeting with Henry Hopkins, the then director of San Francisco’s Museum of Modern Art.
