Zoë Pawlak

Canadian

Contemporary artist and designer Zoë Pawlak is known for her confident, ever-evolving practice. Rooted in painting, her catalog includes figurative, landscapes and, most recently, a study of vessels. Pawlak’s practice has expanded to include industrial design, including mirror and rug collections. The through line in her work is an evocative, intuitive command of colour, material use and composition.

Born and based in Vancouver, Pawlak received her BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, followed by an exchange at Universidad de las Américas Puebla. She was the artist-in-residence at the Summit Mountain Series in February 2018.
Zoë’s work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Interior Design, The Globe and Mail and Martha Stewart Living. She’s presented select works at ICFF, WestEdge, AD Design Show and IDS West. Pawlak’s paintings are in the private collections of the Government of Canada, Cristina and Trevor Linden, Cobie Smulders and Club Monaco.
