Josh Greene
Josh Greene Design is a New York-based interior design studio with a collaborative approach to creating stylish environments that balance functionality, warmth and comfort.
With over 15 years of experience in the design industry, Josh worked for luminaries including Ralph Lauren, MR Architecture + Décor, Michael Smith and Sawyer Berson, before launching Josh Greene Design. He has earned a place on Architectural Digest’s Ones-to-Watch list as well as Elle Décor’s A-List, the annual directory of top interior design firms. With JGD, he refines his design vision by drawing on his varied experience and an ever-expanding range of influences to craft unique spaces tailored to each client.
In 2020, Josh launched his first collection of furniture in collaboration with Dowel Furniture. Featuring an array of product categories, all with simple forms and strong geometry, he looked to namely three 20th century design heroes in terms of style precedent: Charlotte Perriand and her functional simplicity, the sensual and bold lines of Karl Springer’s 1970s furniture and Michael Taylor’s 1980s California interiors as a benchmark for where the pieces might live.
Josh has been recognized by and featured in publications including The New York Times, Architectural Digest, Luxe, DuJour, House Beautiful, Departures, L’Uomo Vogue, Domino, Traditional Home and Elle Décor.
