Here the Venetian artist, set designer and poetic creative master plays on the two meanings of the Italian word "albero", both a tree and a mast. in this evocative, dream-like bronze, Chiarenza's delicately modeled boat, with its outward reaching tree, is adorned with rich gold leaf, as if reflecting the light of the moon that plays on the water in which it floats.
