Description
The Guillerme et Chambron set consists of a Petit Repos lounge chair, a Grand Repos lounge chair and a 'Juliette' Sofa. All three of the items display a beautiful contrast between the light wooden oak frame and the elegant light fabric of the cushions. With a solid wooden frame, the support for the backs is made with wooden spindles extending upwards yet slightly curved, resulting in a rounded backrest. The cushions have been upholstered in a premium bouclé fabric. The pillows for the backrests have been embellished with tufted buttons on the front and back, as well as with loops encompassing the spindles that ensure the cushion stays in position. The bottoms consist of a cushions framed by the curved wooden armrests which extend to the legs.

About the designers:
Robert Guillerme and Jacques Chambron worked together in order to create this exquisite sofa. Guillerme studied architecture, however after WWII moved to Lille and continued designing furniture. Chambron knew Guillerme for years and moved in order to work together with him on furniture. Their company called Your House was an overarching theme seen in their work, as both Guillerme and Chabron believed home to be a family place providing both comfort and aesthetic features.
