These charming late-19th Century bronzes are of the Animalier school. Each sculpture, supported by a wooden backing, depicts a dead game bird hanging by its feet. The quality of the craftsmanship is exceptional, with the bronze throughout superbly cast and wonderfully patinated. The pair is a brilliant example of the very best of the Animalier school. -
