Eduard Klablena (1881-1933) in Langenzersdorf Austria.
Klablena was from 1909 till 1932 one of Austria's most avant-garde ceramics, every sculpture in ceramics, every sculpture in ceramic was a modern expression of the new Vienna, so whether is was a figure of a woman dressed in the latest fashion or crest macaque on key reaching out his hand for some fruit, all were unique works.
This piece was made in Vienna in 1925 in a polychromed ceramic with the black stamp of the EK impressed model No.543 Made in Austria. -
