Pair of antique 19th Century French gilt bronze and crystal candelabra
French, 19th Century
Height 57cm, width 26cm, depth 23cm
This pair of antique French candelabra are in the Rococo style, and are masterfully cast in gilt bronze and hung with crystal droplets. Each candelabrum holds scrolling branches for five lights on its central stem, which is of crystal mounted on ormolu. The central stand, topped with a crystal finial, is supported by three, curling legs which are ornamented with palm leaf motifs, atop a tri-form base. -
