Pair of Sam Resnick Chairs with Heavy Saddle Leather, American, 19650s
-
Description
A wonderful pair of rare Mid-Century studio crafted lounge chairs by Sam Resnick. The chairs have an iron frame with a heavy, brown saddle leather seating and backrest and walnut armrests. At the backrest the leather is curved directly around the metal. The seat has a wooden frame and tilts slightly backwards, which makes you slide into the chair. Combined with the large armrests, the chair really takes you in. Minimal design with studio furniture qualities, excellent comfort and a stunning patina.
We have a third chair of this model available. -
