Description
Pair of CM 190 slippers by Pierre Paulin, edited by Thonet in the late 1950s.
Seat height 40 cm.
New foam seated and upholstered with a black-and-white mottled fabric from Casamance. Fully restored black lacquer metal tubular footing.
Designer: In the 1950s, Pierre Paulin’s bold creations seduced the public and were noticed by Thonet France, who became the first publisher.
Pierre Paulin’s furniture has become cults and is now on display at the Museum of Decorative Arts and the Georges Pompidou Centre in Paris. -
