Description
GamFratesi 'Beetle' dining chair with antique conic base. Designed by Danish-Italian design-duo GamFratesi in 2013. The Beetle chair’s durable outer shell is a continuous curved form reminiscent of the strong and graceful contours of the insect that inspired it. Executed in a polypropylene plastic shell and a steel base with an antique brass finish. Despite its robustness, it is designed to gently flex, providing comfort even after prolonged sitting, and making it ideal for dining and meetings. Sleek and elegant conical metal legs add an overall lightness to the design, accentuating the ‘beetle’ aesthetic. Available in a wide spectrum of color and base options, the un-upholstered Beetle is an ideal solution for both formal and informal spaces alike.
Price is per item. Available in a variety of shell colors and bases. Prices and lead-time may vary.
Shell color options: Black, dark green, pastel green, new beige, amber brown, pebble brown, alabaster white, and sweet pink.
Metal base options: Antique brass, black chrome, black matte, and brass semi matte
Wood base options: American walnut, black stained beech, oak, smoked oak
GamFratesi Studio was established in 2006 by the Danish architect Stine Gam (born 1975) and the Italian architect Enrico Fratesi (born 1978). GamFratesi belongs to the latest generation of furniture architects, and together they represent a new interpretation of the meeting between Danish and international design traditions.
