Description
Executed in matte orange glazed ceramic. A very clean and increasingly rare example attributed to iconic ceramics manufacturer Gainey Ceramics, circa 1960s. Drilled, structurally sound and highly presentable. Retains original manufacturer's signature on the underside of the planter.
Gainey Ceramics has been in the business of manufacturing the finest quality hand-crafted containers for more than 40 years, spanning 3 generations. Gainey pioneered functional yet visually appealing plant containers, becoming the choice of professional architects, landscapers, interior and exterior designers throughout the midcentury era.
Price is for the set of 3.
Please note that these pieces are from our personal collection and are currently being used by us as planters; as a result, some additional age appropriate wear including water marks, mineral deposits and soiling are present. Pieces are structurally sound. Five drill holes present in each planter.
Some age appropriate patina, dings, scuffs and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. Please note that only one representative example of the planters is featured in the listing images, but all planters in similarly good condition and present well as a set. Additional photos available upon request. -
