An intricately carved statuary fragment, taken from an Italian chapel, circa 1890. The fragment is a carved fruitwood head, once attached to a carved fruitwood body. It depicts a saintly figure, wearing a somber expression and a wreath of flowers in its hair. A special decorative object for the spiritual antique collector.
