This traditional hand-woven Persian Malayer rug has a shaded charcoal overall field with grand ivory and blue cruciform motif issuing counterposed geometric floral vines and enclosing ornate palmettes and minor cruciform, in an ivory elegant turtle-palmette border, between delicate vine stripes.
