Nick Veasey

British, 1962
Nick Veasey is a British photographer known for his x-ray images. Born in 1962 in London, Veasey worked in graphic design and advertising before turning to photography.

Veasey's images often depict everyday objects, such as cars, appliances, and clothing, as well as human and animal figures, in intricate detail using x-ray technology. He creates his images by exposing objects to x-rays and then capturing the resulting images on film or digitally. He then combines and manipulates the images to create highly detailed, often surreal, compositions.

Veasey's work has been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world, including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Grand Palais in Paris, and the National Museum of China in Beijing. He has also worked on advertising campaigns for major brands such as Nike, Jaguar, and Guinness.

Veasey's x-ray images have received numerous awards and have been featured in books, magazines, and other publications. He has also published several books featuring his work, including "X-ray: See Through the World Around You" and "Inside Out: The Anatomy of a Limited Edition."
