This is a classic mid-century walnut spindle accent table/stool designed by Arthur Umanoff for Washington Woodcraft in the 1950s. Refinished with a glossy clear coat bringing out the warm natural walnut color of the wood. The top is reupholstered in white Mongolian lambswool. The original black leatherette top was left underneath for easy use as a table. Perfect as a side table, accessorized with a tray, or as an accent stool. Not recommended for everyday use as a stool by an adult. Message from AUBÉRY: Most of my pieces are mid-century, vintage, and Antiques. Perfect symmetry in furniture is a sure sign of being made by a machine; irregularity is a good thing as perfection does not exist. What sets me is that upholstered, wired, or refinished them, makes them one of a kind; you will not see them in every store or gallery only at AUBÉRY. Thank you for looking at one of my pieces.
