Chic pair of last quarter 18th century Italian neoclassical Louis XVI style side chairs having carved, waxed fruitwood frames; the rectangular backs with twisted-rope borders connecting trapezoidal form seats having foliate rinceau rails on Roman-quiver-form legs. Provenance: Boveridge House, Dorset, England.
