  • Description
Mid-century mixed media consisting of acrylic paint, gouache and watercolor on archival heavy paper by the Russian/American artist, Nahum Tschacbasov. Signed bottom right partially painted out signature and date, 1955 and top right signed and dated 1958. Tschacbasov on several occasions has gone back and reworked earlier paintings that were previously signed and dated. He would rarely put on a finish varnish coat on his paintings for this very reason. Condition of the artwork is very good. Framed under glass. The artwork is framed in a 3/4 inch wide blond maple frame 28.75 by 20.5 inches. Provenance: Estate of the artist Nahum Tschacbasov.
