Description
Three sculptures from the series "The Rust" by renowned Japanese artist Aijiro Wakita from a very prominent collection in Dallas Texas. The sculptures were created in pieces of corten steel cut at 45-degree angles, welded and ground smooth creating very sharp edges and looks very origami, two of the sculpture stands over 9 feet tall. Aijiro Wakita's works are unparalleled and are in several modern museums, many financial institutions, and important collections throughout the world. One of the sculptures caught the eye of executive film producer Avi Arad and was featured in the first "Iron Man movie. Images include Tony Stark's / Robert Downey Jr.'s - 'Iron Mans house showing the sculpture. --Please contact us for additional information and images. The smaller sculpture stands 85"h x 7"sq.
