Fabio Tagliapietra is an Italian artist known for his glass sculptures. He was born in Murano, Italy, in 1934 and comes from a family of glass artisans. He began working with glass at a young age and went on to study at the Venice School of Art. He has exhibited his work in galleries and museums around the world, including the Museum of Arts and Design in New York and the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, Washington.
