A graduate of the Ecole Boulle and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, Coralie Laverdet explores the sensitive, sensual, poetic and formal language of matter. His research opens up a question, that of the fabrication of appearances by the human gaze. His work, resulting from the union of traditional techniques and a more contemporary vision, manifests his pronounced infatuation for the forms of nature, the curiosities they engender, the vibrations they arouse.
After much research, it is on wood and paper that she is now concentrating through diversion, recovery and recycling. From the fiber of the wood to that of the paper, a close, complicit, sometimes complex relationship.
Alongside her artistic activity, she teaches interior architecture students in Paris.
