Description
This is a large English Regency tilt-top breakfast table. The two board solid mahogany top is well-grained and in overall very good condition, retaining an old, but not original, surface. The top has acquired a rich natural patina; there are couple ring marks which do not detract from the overall beauty of the table. The unusual ring-turned pedestal is supported by three elegant saber legs terminating in beautifully articulated paw feet. The table retains its original casters and tilt mechanism. We have polished the table with several coats of paste wax.
