Pair of 1940s Art Deco Four Arm Silverplate & Crystal Candleholders
-
Description
This stunning pair of 1940s Art Deco hollywood candleholders were realized in France, circa 1945. They feature faceted octagonal bases in translucent crystal circumscribed by a fine silverplate rim at their nadirs. The bodies are square crystal with sculptural streamlined silverplate arms extending outwards topped with translucent rhombus crystal upon which urn form bodies in faceted ascend. Their are spherical finials under each of the streamlined silver arms. The four candleholders at the apex of each piece are cylindrical and composed of silverplate. With their graphic form and clean modernist lines, these candleholders would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Art Deco to contemporary. They are in excellent vintage condition.
