Description
This is an iconic pair of Niccolo Gualtieri hand colored shell engravings that formed part of his Testarum Conchyliorum which was publiched in 1742. The folios are beautifully matted and framed in a faux bamboo, regency style frame. The copper plates were engraved by Pazzi & Menabuoni.
